UA Local 440 was established on July 6, 1903. Originally Steamfitters Local 440 we merged to become Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 440. Today, UA Local 440 provides highly skilled journeymen who fabricate, install, and service piping systems; heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. Our organization is committed to providing our members with quality benefits, training, and safe job sites.
